PSG 'Submit Offer' for Manchester United's Paul Pogba With 2 Players Tipped to Move in Exchange

Gather round, everyone. It's time for the latest batch of nonsense on the future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman will enter the final year of his contract this summer, and although United do have the option to extend that by a further year, he still remains heavily linked with a move away this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are one of the sides who have been linked with Pogba, and Tuttosport suggest that the French side have even proposed a player-plus-cash deal to try and win the race for his signature.

The report states that Julian Draxler is one of the players on the table, which doesn't sound too ridiculous. However, the second player suggested is completely mental - Ángel Di María.

You know, the same Di María who flopped at Old Trafford during the 2014/15 season and has admitted that he didn't enjoy his time in Manchester. The same Di María who, according to teammate Marcin Bułka, can't stand even watching the Red Devils on TV.

It seems pretty obvious that Di María wouldn't want to come back to United, and the idea of the Red Devils accepting him as a major part of a deal for Pogba is even more ridiculous. This isn't happening.

Di María is 32-years-old, so he doesn't fit in with what United are trying to do. They want to get younger, which is why they're hoping to complete a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, who is 12 years Di María's junior.

There is no way that such a deal would even come close to being accepted, and given just how highly PSG value Di María - he has managed 11 goals and 21 assists from 37 games this year - the idea of the two sides agreeing on the Argentine's value seems more than a little far-fetched.

As for Draxler, that wouldn't be the most insane option. He's 26 and can at least play in midfield fairly well, but United would need far more than just the German if they are to sell Pogba this summer.

Angel Di Maria

A source has confirmed to 90min that Pogba has made joining Real Madrid his priority this summer, but both Juventus and Bayern Munich are monitoring his situation as well.

United remain hopeful that they may be able to convince Pogba to sign a new contract, but the Frenchman himself is keen to call it a day at Old Trafford.
