PULIS PRAISES FERGIE

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is an SAF fan. Speaking before last night's friendly Pulis was only full of praise and respect.

"The pressure is no doubt on United to match, even better, last season's achievements," said Pulis.

"But if anyone can cope with such constant pressure and expectation, then it is Sir Alex.

"Sir Alex clearly made the right decision not to quit the game a year or two back when he appeared to be on the verge of retiring.

"Every year we expect United to be there or thereabouts, both at home and in Europe, and that's a testament to his achievements down the years."
