"Last season was definitely my best season at Old Trafford. I was finally able to show what I could do on a regular basis. I was enjoying it and was very happy. But I cannot afford to dwell on that now.
"I'll not forget the satisfying feeling of what it is like to play at that level consistently and I am hungry to get back to that. But I don't remind myself of where I had got to and what might have happened if I hadn't been injured.
"If I had tormented myself thinking about other players catching up or overtaking me then I would have destroyed myself. That period of my career has gone and I now have a platform to try to prove myself again. The next match is my sole focus."
