Quinton Fortune is looking to sign a new contract at United,
and negotiations are on-going:

“We're still talking about a new contract. It's taking time
but I'm sure it will be sorted out and hopefully in the next
couple of weeks because I definitely want to stay here.

“Words cannot describe what I feel like when I put on the
Manchester United shirt and I don't want to go anywhere else
because we have the best players. I have improved but I also
think I can do much better. I want to be among the best and
challenging the best.

“That's the fire that keeps burning in my heart. I will keep
going and hopefully when my chance comes I'll be ready for
it.”

Fortune was beginning to hit form over Christmas when injury
struck, but he isn’t complaining.

“I still have a house to sleep in and food on the table, so
I can't complain.

“I just need to work hard and carry on playing so I can get
fit for the first-team,

“You get frustrated some days but you have to try and keep
everything in perspective. I'm at the best club in the
world, getting treatment every day from the best physios and
everything is done for my benefit.”
