Real Madrid look set to end their interest in Paul Pogba following the emergence of Federico Valverde as a key first-team player at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 21-year-old all-action Uruguayan has been a breakout star for Zinedine Zidane's side this season, earning rave reviews for his aggressive and dynamic displays in central midfield.
The South American starlet signed for Real for around £4.5m in 2016 and has made 18 appearances for the club this season, with his market value skyrocketing in the process.
Real have been so impressed by the youngster's development over the past few months, the club is ready to cease its pursuit of Manchester United star Pogba, according to a report by AS.
