REDS MOVE ON AFRICA BUT NOT BRAZIL

According to Planet football Royal Antwerp have secured the signature of rising young African striker Arthur 'Archer' Gomez who will complete his move to the Belgian club within the next week and it is said that United are ‘delighted at finally securing his signature.’

United are using Antwerp as a feeder club for African players who would not gain work permits for the UK if they were brought straight to Carrington. Planet football claim that a deal for Archer was struck with Gambian club Hawks for their 18-year-old striker back in June and Antwerp's general manager Paul Bistaux has revealed the extent of United’s involvement.

"This deal benefits three sides - us, Manchester United and the player," said Bistaux. "He is as much Manchester United's player as he is ours, we are all very happy with the deal. He should be here soon, as we are expecting the permit to come through within the next few days."

And in Sapin…

With Rivaldo being released from his Barcelona contract he is available for no fee and around £70k a week wages and has issued a ‘come and get me plea to United and Real:

"I already know that there have been some offers from several teams like Manchester United, Lazio, Milan and Atletico Madrid. I even heard some rumours saying that I would be going back to Palmeiras but, at the moment, I am not thinking about returning to Brazilian football."
