From Guardian:

'Peter Walton will today inform the FA of a misunderstanding that led to him being accused of entering the Manchester United dressing room at half-time on Saturday, writes Alan Biggs.

According to Walton's match report, Tottenham had retaken the field when the officials followed them past the away dressing room only to see the players still inside and Sir Alex Ferguson framing the doorway. Walton is understood to have stopped alongside Ferguson and shouted beyond him for the United team to get back on to the field. At this moment Jacques Santini, aggrieved about the first-half penalty, was approaching on his way back to the touchline.'
