‘Arsenal striker Thierry Henry and Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand were bridging the recent divide between their clubs to launch an anti-racism initiative. Henry and Ferdinand are coming together to launch an anti-racism campaign called 'Stand Up, Speak Up' in association with Nike.

‘The main feature of the campaign will be black and white interlocked wristbands, as worn by Henry when he was recently named as runner-up in the FIFA world player of the year awards.

‘The launch of the campaign was taking place in London on Thursday afternoon, with Henry and Ferdinand both scheduled to appear.’
