Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has admitted that Christiano Ronl=aldo is the odds-on favourite to scoop the Fifa World Player of the Year Award.

The Spanish striker does not think that anyone matched Ronaldo's achievement's last season in which he scored 42 goals which helped United claim the Premier League title and the Champions League Trophy.

"No one can rival him, he is in a class of his own," Torres told France Football.

I have never seen a comparable player.

"What he did last season was incredible.

"He's a machine."

Torres and Ronaldo are among the 23 candidate's nomintaed for the Fifa player of the year award.
