"We are still in three tournaments with a chance of winning them and that in itself tells you Cristiano is at the right club - he knows that," Fergie said.
"I think he has settled down, his form has returned in the last few weeks and the goals are starting to come for him now.
"There is a sense of a big occasion about every game now.
