RONNY TO THE RESCUE

Ex mickey Ronny Rosenthal has offered Ryan Giggs some advice after Giggs' miss on Saturday. Rosenthal thankfully suffered the same fate when Liverpool played Aston Villa in 1992. However he thinks getting his head down and playing again will ease the anguish.

Rosenthal said: "My miss was 11 years ago but people still talk to me about it all the time. It has been shown on the television over and over again and it will never go away.

I suspect it will be the same for Ryan. I had to laugh when I saw myself on Match of the Day on Saturday. It's painful to watch but it's just one of those things, I don't let it bother me.

Ryan needs to be the same. My advice would be to get back to training, work hard and forget about it.
