Mick McCarthy or Roy Keane are favourites to take over at Celtic if Martin O'Neill joins Leeds, according to newspaper reports.

The Daily Mirror claim McCarthy is prepared to quit as Republic of Ireland boss to take over at Parkhead. And the Daily Express suggest Roy Keane, who has been linked with a move to Celtic before, could be offered a player-manager's role.

Serie A side Brescia are interested in signing out-of-contract captain Paul Ince on a free transfer.

Brescia are in danger of turning themselves into a retirement home for the elderly footballer, they already have the ageing Roberto Baggio on the books are said to be looking for a replacement for Spanish international Josep Guardiola.
