ROY KEANE PLAYS DOWN CUP PROSPECTS

Keano:

"I don't want to get carried away with all that nonsense
that it is going to be us and somebody else in the final. We
have go to stay focussed on the next round of the cup and
whoever that may be.

"Fulham have come to Old Trafford and beaten us already this
season, West Ham knocked us out of the cup a couple of years
ago, so in football you really can't get carried away with
anything and we will treat them with the respect they
deserve.

"When you get a home draw you do think that if you can get
past this one you are in the semis, but we have all been
disappointed over the last few years with our FA Cup
performances and we haven't been to the final since 1999.

"It would be nice to get back to it because it is a great
day out and it's a great competition. To be honest, in the
last few years we have probably been more focussed on the
European Cup and obviously the Premiership but everybody
seems to be ready for the challenge again of the FA Cup.

"I know the last round was against City, but when the
opposing team brings nine or ten thousand fans it makes a
fantastic atmosphere and whether it is West Ham or Fulham I
am sure it will be a fantastic occasion and one the players
all seem to enjoy.”
