The London Evening Standard reports that Rustu Recber, who
impressed during last summers World Cup Finals, is keen on a
move to the Premiership and that Arsenal are one of the
teams that he’d like to join.

"I'd love to play for Arsenal, of course I would. I want to
play for one of the biggest teams in the Champions League,
particularly in England. Arsenal are on the agenda but it's
not official yet. Nothing has been signed.

"My agent is speaking to many clubs and one of those is
Arsenal. My contract is up at the end of the season and I
will probably leave. Playing for a big club in the Champions-
League is my only remaining ambition."

Recber likes the style of football played in England:

“I've come to watch my friends play over here from time to
time, the atmosphere is great and I'd like to experience
that. It's exciting for me to watch Tugay and Alpay play in
the Premier League. I want to join them. The Premiership is
quite different to the Turkish league. Mentally it's much
harder and the defensive techniques are different."
