"When you are a striker people are going to look at your figures. I don't have a problem with people doing that. It is a fact that if I don't score goals it's news. I take that criticism because it is true and try to keep my game going and just hope for the next goal to come along. I wasn't even aware it was my worst run for United without a goal."

"I didn't feel really bad because I have played some decent games.

"It wasn't as if my touch wasn't right or I was playing really badly. But as a striker you are judged on scoring goals and I am too. Over the years, you gain experience in learning to deal with that. If you start worrying it is not going to help you, so it is the right thing to do to not concern yourself with it and eventually you come through it."

And his link with Diego:

"It can become a great partnership. If you see his qualities and mine, they can adapt together. Diego is on a great run and they have all been important goals. It is great to see that he is doing so well because he had a hard time at the beginning of the season when he didn't play much, then all of a sudden he was asked to play and it is not easy to perform straightaway."
