Ruud van Nistelrooy's stomach complaint that made him miss Holland's game in midweek may also cause him to sit out the Wigan game. He has however reiterated that he has no intentions of leaving. Why does he keep feeling the urge to do this?

"So far, I haven't played a bad season personally,"

"A form crisis or panic is absolute nonsense.

"I want to concentrate myself here on the Dutch national team. I want to go to the World Cup and I want to produce a good performance there.

"And I won't answer any questions about stories which aren't stories."
