Ruud van Nistelrooy's two goals last night took him above Denis Law as United's all time leading goal scorer in Europe. Ruud has now scored 30 goals in 33
European matches two more than the Lawman himself.

Ruud was very happy to have broken the record and had this to say after the
match

"It makes me proud to score more goals in Europe than a great Manchester
United player like Denis Law."
