The Mirror are claiming this morning that Louis Saha could be out until Christmas as his injury is worse than first feared. The paper claims
Detailed medical scans have revealed that Saha's medial ligament damage is
worse than was first thought and the Frenchman faces up to four months on the
sidelines.
Medical staff had hoped an initial scan of Saha's injury meant he would be back
in training within three weeks and available for selection within a month.
But closer examination of the injury has revealed it is extensively damaged.
The worst case scenario is a lengthy absence that will even hit United's
Christmas programme.
