Planet Football reports that United have agreed an official link-up with Brazilian giants Sao Paulo, while also sealing the signature of starlet Carlos Eduardo Castro Lourenco. United agreed an official co-operation deal with Sao Paulo - similar to the one they already have in place with Nantes and Sporting
Lisbon.

United's Academy director Les Kershaw, who has brokered most of the Premiership champion's agreements with foreign clubs - confirmed the news of the link-up.

"Everyone in the Manchester is impressed with the vision of the Sao Paulo," said Kershaw.

"We see sufficient potential here for the development of projects together with the Brazilian club and our Portuguese partners, Sporting Lisbon."

Sao Paulo's president Marcelo Portugal Gouveia is happy with the deal saying: "The partnership in will help them to continue with our strong tradition to construct great teams.

"We can continue the professionalism throughout our club."
