SCHOLES THROWS HIS OPINION IN

Speaking on MUTV he said:

"It could be massive. If they are thinking on Saturday night
that they are second after everyone saying what a great team
they have been, but all of a sudden they are second. There
would be a bit of extra pressure on them on Sunday with the
Everton game and hopefully they can crack.”

Speaking about the Villa match he said:

β€œIt was very important to win, especially with Arsenal
losing in the afternoon. It wasn't the best of performances
but at this stage of the season the win is the most
important thing. All that matters is winning games just to
keep the pressure on. It was a massive boost for us that
Arsenal got beat and it made out result all the more
important.

"Our target now is to win every game and if we do that then
we are going to win the league.

"We have a lot of difficult games left but we know we are
capable of winning them."

He has targeted the game at Highbury as the time to overtake
Arsenal:

"If it is still the two points it is now then we will
probably take that, and if Arsenal is one of those games
that will mean we overtake them."
