Jerzy Dudek:

"I know what happened then but I have stopped playing it
through my mind and I only think of the good memories of
playing against Manchester United, like the Worthington Cup
Final.

"I have felt a lot stronger on the pitch since then. The
break I had out of the first team after that game helped
freshen me up and I was raring to go when I returned for pre-
season training in the summer. I am a lot more confident now
and hopefully I can keep that going."

Steven Gerrard:

"Manchester United is the biggest game of the season for
Liverpool, definitely," Gerrard told Football Focus.

“We are both fighting for Champions League places, and of
course there is the rivalry and the domination over the last
two decades. We have had some great games against United and
I'm sure the game on Sunday will be exactly the same. We
can't afford to lose many more games so we need the win.

"I'm a local lad and I've watched those games from the
stands. I think that is why they are such big games, because
of the rivalry between the fans. I think that also comes
into the dressing room and also between the staff.

"Everton is a massive game and always will be because they
are only across the road, but United is the biggest game of
the season."
