Bryan Robson will have talks with Reading tomorrow about a return to management to replace Alan Pardew after an absence of two seasons.
The former Manchester United captain is returning from television duties in the Far East to meet the Royals as part of their seven-man shortlist for the post.
Robson has had to fight a whispering campaign against him since he left Middlesbrough and is determined to take a job to prove that he still has ability.

UNITED TO REWARD TEENAGER

Midfield prospect Darren Fletcher is set to be awarded a new four-year contract by Manchester United.

The 19-year-old made his Premiership debut against Leicester on Saturday and is in the squad for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Stuttgart.
Boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "He is a great prospect and he will have a great future. He's not realised all his potential yet — there is more to come."
