Danny Simpson hopes to start United's next two Champions League matches now United have qualified for the next round.

"After Kiev, hopefully the manager might feel that because we played well he might just give us another game against a better team, now that we are through," said Danny.

"As long as we keep concentrating and keep training with the other young lads, we will just see if he throws us in again, and, hopefully, we can do the same again.

"I would love that, especially given the quality of the teams. If I went there and did well, had a good game, I would be even happier. It's going well at the minute.

"It just gives you so much confidence that the manager trusts you, especially in a game like Kiev when we needed to win to go through.

"He told me I would play at the back along with Gerard Pique, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, and that is all he had to say to give me confidence. He told me just to go out and do what I normally do.

"At the moment everyone who comes into the team is playing really well.

"We have got a good camp and can't do anything wrong at the moment.

"In training everyone is having a laugh and it's dead bubbly, and every game we play in, we feel like we are going to win it, and play good football.

"We have young lads coming through, but lads that are already established like Wayne and Cristiano are young lads as well, which people forget sometimes.

"Then we had the likes of me, Gerard and Jonny Evans who came on, and it looks good for the future."
