Manchester United crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Grimsby Town on Wednesday night, after a thrilling penalty shootout that sent the League Two club's fans into raptures.

United boss Ruben Amorim was eager to forget te whole night and look forward to Saturday's Premier League game at home to Burnley.

"I think this is a little bit the limit," he said. "I think something has to change.

"I think the team and the players spoke really loud today, so that's it. I think the best team won, the only team that was on the pitch.

"I think it's really clear what they spoke, so let's move on from this day. I think it was clear for everybody what happened today.

"The way we start the game without any intensity, we were completely lost.

"In this moment, we need to focus on the weekend and then we have time to think."

Amorim is 2/1 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked, according to the bookies. If United lose on Saturday then those odds will be slashed even further.
