Guardian reports:

A 31-year-old fan of Spanish soccer club Deportivo Coruna
died on Tuesday night following violent incidents after a
cup match in northeastern Spain.

A doctor in the Santiago hospital where the man was taken
following the game told Radio Marca that Manuel Rios Suarez
had died and that an autopsy would be carried out later.

Local media reported that Rios, married with two children,
died from internal injuries sustained during clashes at the
King's Cup first round match between Santiago Compostela and
Deportivo.

Medical workers failed to resuscitate the supporter, who was
dead on arrival at hospital in the Galician city.

The death comes as Spanish authorities becoming increasingly
concerned about an upsurge in violence at soccer matches.
