Match report from the official site:

'A superb display from David Jones helped the Reserves maintain their Pontin's League leadership after a comfortable win against Burnley.

On a near-blizzard swept evening at Accrington Stanley, Jones scored one goal and made another for Ramon Calliste.

The game began as a lifeless affair, with no real chances of note throughout the entire first half. Jones sent a long-range effort over the bar, while the hosts' Paul Scott had an effort disallowed for offside.

It was no surprise that Jones opened the scoring for Ricky Sbragia's side on 65 minutes.

Phil Marsh sent the midfielder through on goal, and Jones delightfully clipped the ball over the onrushing keeper.

Jones came close again five minutes later, but helped put the game to bed eight minutes from time as his pass allowed Calliste to fire a low, angled drive into the net.

The Clarets did halve the arrears in stoppage time as Marc Pugh converted the rebound after Tom Heaton had parried his penalty kick.
