Good riddance to Roy Carroll, it was confirmed today that he will be leaving the club this summer. David Gill told BBC Radio Four, "Obviously we would have to sign a goalkeeper if Roy Carroll doesn't re-sign and if we've got a vacancy in that department, we would have to make money available for that. There is no indication to us that he is going to accept our final contract offer in which case he will leave as a free agent on 30 June.
"We are not sitting on our hands. We will look at who is available and who could fill his boots."
