The Sun claims that United have offered £6 million and that the deal is moving
closer. The Sun's 'ever-reliable' United 'insider' said: "United made a fair offer
and know the player wants to join.

"Leeds have to sell him and presumably he will only go where he wants to go,
otherwise he will stay at Elland Road."

United are reportedly lining up a swoop for Paris Saint Germain's Argentine
defender Gabriel Heinze. The 26-year-old, left-footed central defender has two
years left on his deal at Parc des Princes but is widely expected to leave this
summer.

Fernando Morientes could be heading to Juventus although; surprise, surprise
Chelsea are also rumoured to be interested.

Paul Dickov, Frank Sinclair and Keith Gillespie won't be joining David Beckham
in Spain as the charges of rape against them have been dropped!
