Danny Mills gets all excited with himself before this weeks England match. Speaking to The Sun newspaper he explains how he should keep his place in the starting line up.

"I don't pick the team - but if I did I'd play myself.

"Gary had been relatively unchallenged for a few years. Now I'm there and I think I've shown I deserve to be.

"The World Cup went well for me - possibly better than I expected - and we did have a decent run into the last eight.

Then he blows Gary Neville's trumpet

"Me and Gary have been in a few squads together but I don't really know him too well on a personal level. Professionally, though, I have the utmost respect for him.

"He was unfortunate with the injury and I've always thought he was one of the country's most under-rated players.

"He's been a fantastic servant for both his club and England.

"He's a great pro and never lets his team down.

"I have spoken to our coach Brian Kidd - who was at Old Trafford for a long time - and he told me how hard Gary has worked to achieve what he has in the game and he certainly deserves his success.
