Gary Neville misses the match with a hamstring injury.

Fergie has also spoken about which goalie will play:

"I'm not near it at all. I've got thoughts, but nothing
really to report about it. We thought Tim would be up to
scratch. I think it helped him starting off in the States,
but his training has been terrific too. He is definitely in
my thoughts, but so is Roy Carroll and so is Barthez simply
because of his experience.

"Ricardo may be the odd man out at this time because of what
is in front of him. Nonetheless, I have a decision to make
which doesn't really matter much for this game, in the sense
of the importance of what lies ahead, but you don't want to
be losing."

Fergie thinks Howard could be worth the risk:

"I thought in the second game he was more confident. He
looked a bit nervous playing his first game in his own
backyard, but in the second he displayed a lot of confidence
and general improvement which was very pleasing. I think the
boy's got a lot, but whether it is fair to put him in right
away, we will have to see."

He also gave few clues about who else would start:

"I don't know what midfield I will pick, but it won't be far
away from last season's, maybe even the same team. I could
give the young lads like Eric Djemba Djemba time to settle
in. I could play the team, which won at Newcastle, drew at
Arsenal and beat Liverpool and that would be no disruption
to anything."

Squad: Barthez, Carroll, Howard, P Neville, Ferdinand,
Silvestre, O'Shea, Solskjaer, Butt, Scholes, Keane, Giggs,
Van Nistelrooy, Lynch, Pugh, Djemba Djemba, Fortune,
Bellion, Fletcher, Richardson, Forlan.
