England match. John O’Shea is also unlikely to start, he was
injured in the Ireland game last weekend. Diego Forlan has
apparently not travelled with the squad as he is too tired
after travelling back from international duty.
For Charlton Di Canio is expected to start but on loan
Carlton Cole will miss out through injury.
If Giggs starts it will be his 550th game for United, Ruud
will play in his 100th against the team he supported as a
boy (bizarre but true). Nicky Butt is unlikely to play,
leaving him on 199 appearances.
