decided against a permanent move north:
"I was a United fan at the time and had the chance to go up
there. United were in London to play West Ham and they
invited me to go for lunch before the game.
"I was there at the dinner table with Paul Ince and Eric
Cantona. I had my beans on toast in front of me and was too
scared to eat it.
"I definitely made the right decision to come to Chelsea. I
felt they would look after me straight away. It's a family
club here and they made me feel welcome."
