Paul Scholes on has given his thoughts ion where the challenges will come from. And unsurprisingly he doesn't think it'll be Chelsea.

"Bringing in a galaxy of world-class stars doesn't always guarantee you success.

"And I think Chelsea have found that in the past. In the last few years they have spent a lot of money but haven't really done well in the league.

"They have gone on to the FA Cup final, but never really been that successful in the league, so we will have to wait and see what happens this time."

"I think our priority has always to be to win our own league. That is your bread and butter but you always hope to do well in Europe and that the Champions League will come along as well.

"Arsenal will probably prove to be the biggest danger to us winning it. Without doubt they are up there with us in being the best team in the league and we will be out to prove that again next year.

"I think Arsenal will be the closest to us. They are always be the biggest danger so hopefully we can do well and win it again.

"Chelsea could also be in the running this year and Liverpool as well. They've signed Harry Kewell so obviously they are going to be a better team.

"It is going to be tight, but then again it nearly always ends up that way."
