THE GLASS IS HALF FULL

Phil Neville believes that United's season is far from over despite being knocked out of the Champions League. Speaking on MUTV he also defended his team, manager and the tactics.

"The mentality of the squad is the same because we have the same manager
and the manager has the same beliefs.

"The belief, in Manchester United's history, is to attack. Just because we play
three in midfield, the reality is it is a 4-3-3 attacking formation. It's worked well this season.

"Sometimes over the last 10 years we've been stereotyped as 4-4-2 and
sometimes you have to change.

"We've changed this season. Up to now we've had a good season, we've not
been beaten for a long time in the league.

"We're in the quarter-final of the FA Cup and I firmly believe that if we win every game in all competitions until the end of the season, we won't be far off doing the double.

"That is a big claim but there's still a lot to play for in the FA Cup and the league. We have to make sure we win every game and hope something happens elsewhere."

Getting on with it

"In the past the criticism has been blown out of all proportion, there has been a little bit of criticism but you expect that.

"Everyone realises there was not much to choose between the two sides over two legs.

"We had a lot of the play at home and had chances both home and away so
there was not much wrong with our play.

"Nobody will go overboard with it, it's up to us to pick ourselves up, put that
behind us and concentrate on the rest of the season."
