Ruud:

"We have to try to make it difficult for them because we are not playing well enough to open all the gates ourselves. It is a similar situation to the Arsenal game.

''Chelsea are massive favourites, which is weird when we are at home but that is the reality of the situation we are in.

"Confidence is the biggest problem in our side right now and that is perhaps not surprising when you look at the age of our team. I am 29 and the second eldest in the side. There's Darren, Kieran and Wes, all young players, so it is normal that they play with less confidence.

''But we all have to have an honest look at ourselves. If two or three players are not performing, you can cover it up with the other eight. But when it's more than that, it's impossible."

"When I came here four-and-a-half years ago, United had won seven titles in 10 years and you sort of expect the same. But I want to stay at this club and not only in the good times. I want to help to get them back to where they belong."
