The perms and variables for tomorrow's draw as so eloquently constructed by Detainee.
Pot 1: Real Madrid, Man United, Barcelona, Valencia
Pot 2: Juventus, Arsenal, Inter, Milan
Pot 3: La Coruna, Leverkusen, Roma, Dortmund
Pot 4: Lokomotiv, Ajax, Newcastle, Basel.
We will definitely draw Deportivo from pot 3 as they can't play either Madrid, Barca or Valencia. In the same way Arsenal have definitely got Roma as they can't be drawn into the same group as either Juve, Inter or Milan.
As we have definitely got Depo, this means that we can't get Milan from pot 2 (as Depo and Milan were in the same group) so it's either Juve or Inter from pot 2.
As for pot 4, well we can't get Newcastle and in theory can get anyone of the other three though it's more likely to be either Basel or Moscow due to other circumstances.
Anyway here's my guess at the groups for the next stage before the draw is done.
Group 1 - Madrid, Inter, Leverkusen, Moscow
Group 2 - Manchester United, Juventus, Deportivo, Basel
Group 3 - Barcelona, Arsenal, Roma, Ajax
Group 4 - Valencia, Milan, Dortmund, Newcastle
The only certainty is that it's going to be a tough group and we'll all need a rest after trying to work out Uefa's rules
