Giggsy seems to have forgotten who pays his wages or is it an attempt to win over the Welsh fans who don't think he cares. This was taken from an interview in The Mail.

"At international level you've only got one crack at it. You go away and
come back a month later, so you try as hard as you can, maybe a bit more
than you try for your club. "

So that'll explain the lack of form at the beginning of the season then if he hadn't played so few games for Wales you could almost believe him.
