THERE ISN'T A BENCH OR RUNNING TRACK IN EUROPE THAT SCARES ME

Phil Neville:

"We always like to play the best teams, they bring out the best in us and they don't come much bigger than Juventus, AC and Inter Milan. It looks like there is a good chance we are going to get one of them and we all know they are going to be very tough to beat. But at this stage of the competition last year we got Porto and everyone thought we had got the easiest team, but we lost.

"A few years ago we always used to thrive on playing against the bigger teams. To win this competition again we have to make sure we beat the biggest teams once more. We have been to places like Italy and won before so there is no reason why we can't do it again. Whoever we get will be tough but the Italians are the more high profile teams.

“We don’t seem to have had a big tie for what seems a long time so everybody will be looking forward. People talk about he Milan teams and Juve being hard but Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen have knocked us out before and have contributed to the biggest disappointments in Europe since I have been at this club.”
