Ferguson told MUTV:
"Arsenal were very cautious but we didn't convert our
chances. I think we played the better football but it is a
big point for Arsenal."
Keane wouldn’t be drawn on the trouble after the match but
said of the game:
“There wasn't much to choose between the two teams. It will
be tight for the whole season. I think Liverpool and maybe
Newcastle will be in there. Whoever finishes above
Manchester United or Arsenal has a great chance to win the
league.
“I’m enjoying playing the games against the likes of
Arsenal, but I’m surprised at winning man of the match.”
Wenger said:
"I am here to speak about the way we played and the great
spirit we have shown. That was fantastic after the knock-
down on Wednesday. We showed a lot of character to get
something out of the game. The players were so determined as
you don't want to get into a crisis of confidence.
"No one wanted to take the risks needed to score. We felt
like that in particular. It was a great result after losing
3-0 because we had to make sure that we didn't go into a
crisis of confidence."
