Lou Macari spoke to Manchester United Radio about United's chances in Europe this season.

"I think on a European night at Old Trafford Manchester United are capable of beating anyone."

"As disappointed as everyone was on Saturday the supporters will realise that that has gone now, you can't change the result - we'd like to change it, I certainly would! But we're stuck with it."

"United have progressed from what I would call an easy group, but as for the next phase, there are no easy teams.

"The next phase, regardless of whether you finish top or second, is going to be difficult. You have got to beat the best sides at some stage if you want to win the trophy."
