"Had this been my first season, I am sure that nobody would have been looking in my direction," he told The Manchester Evening News.

"Given that it is my second, I think some of the things have been magnified. People are going to pile pressure on me in this second year. That's how it is. But, in terms of where I am at mentally, I have no issues. I came for the ball and got a bit of a clattering. I fumbled it, but thought I was going to be able to get it back. I should have been able to get it back but circumstances then took over. The finger is going to get pointed my way and I understand that. I have to look at it and be honest. I am not going to point the blame myself, there will be plenty of that going around from other people anyway."
