Ferguson:

"Their dressing room was elated. They were celebrating as if they'd won the World Cup, which I found very interesting.

"Our players took something out of that, psychologically, and I think we're a better team than Arsenal now. They're a young team and they're going to be a very good team.

"But we went there when they were on top form and they hardly managed a shot on goal."

Giggs:

"Some of Arsenal's players thought they'd won the game. I'm not sure we'd have celebrated like that if we'd drawn at home, but I suppose they were excited to score late on.

"Three points were within our grasp and we were robbed at the death. But you've got to get on with things and if you look back at the game there last season, when they scored a late winner, we left with a better result this time.

"The way we played gave us a lot of confidence.

"Whoever puts that string of results together and handles suspensions and injuries better later in the season will probably end up as champions."
