TOOTHLESS, SPINELESS, INEPT, REDUNDANT

Sol Campbell escaped a ban yesterday and was fined an
insignificant, paltry £20’000; not even half his weekly
wages.

The FA said yesterday:

"At today's hearing the (FA disciplinary) committee amended
the charge (under FA rule E2) to one of improper behaviour
under FA rule E1. Sol Campbell accepted his guilt of this
rule and presented mitigation to the committee, who decided
that the Arsenal defender be warned as to his future conduct
and fined the sum of 20,000 pounds."

Campbell was delighted (of course he would be) and told
Arsenal's official website:

“The FA gave me a fair hearing and I'm happy with the
decision they've made.”

So Saint Sol is happy and ready to do his best for good old
team England. Meanwhile the FA and their disciplinary
measures are a joke, but the only people laughing are those
at Highbury.
