The Sun report that we will bid £17m for Damien Duff, Mads
Timm has joined Norwegian team Viking on loan. Viking
director Bjarne Berntsen said on Viking's official website:

"We have agreed a loan deal with the Danish striker Mads
Timm.

"It will last until our final game in the spring season on
July 4.

"He is a very promising player. We have seen him several
times and we think that it will be interesting to get him
over.
"United and the player himself also thought it was
interesting to go to Viking for half a season.

"They have got great plans for the Danish striker."

The Times reports that Fergie met the father of 17 year old
French striker Jeremy Menez in Paris yesterday.

Rumours also abound that we will sign Boca Juniors striker
Carlos Tevez who has admitted that he will move in the
summer should the offer be right.

''If in June I receive a good offer for me and the club I
will surely leave,” said Tevez.

Apparently we have rejected a Chelsea offer for Rio
Ferdinand, they are reportedly ready to break the British
transfer record to bring him to London.

Norwegian side Molde failed in an attempt to get Ole Gunnar
Solskjaer on loan, because he has returned to fitness so
quickly.

Molde director Espen Silseth:

"I brought it up in a conversation with his advisor Jim
Solbakken. It would have been great if we could have
achieved it, and if that was something that Manchester
United and Ole Gunnar would have wanted.

"If he wanted good match training through the spring and the
summer, this would have been very interesting for us. But
now they want him to get fit with Manchester United ahead of
next season."
