ROY KEANE may be on the verge of a sensational return with the Republic of Ireland.

Irish boss Brian Kerr is having a face-to-face meeting with the Manchester United skipper this week.

Kerr said:

“I haven’t spoken to Roy. I don’t have any difficulty with any player who wishes to change their mind about playing for us.If people decide to make themselves available, fine.But I will then decide whether or not to select them.”
