Manchester United have progressed talks with Barcelona over the transfer of Ousmane Dembele. The English Premier League club have proposed a season loan deal for the France international; Barcelona want a sale, and are pricing Dembele at €100million.
Record Sport understands that senior Old Trafford officials, including executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, have spoken to Barcelona counterparts about the viability of a move. Although the Catalans would be prepared to let the forward leave on loan before the October 5 transfer deadline, they have said they will only do so if an obligatory purchase option is included in the deal.
