Reports this morning say that Real Madrid have entered the race with Barcelona and United to sign Chelsea's Eidur Gudjohnsen. It's believed he could be used in a deal between the two clubs that could see Roberto Carlos lining up for Chelsea next season.

The MEN claims United are favourites to sign the striker for a fee of around £8 million.
