"United won the title by six points last year and have been freely spending strengthening their squad during the summer.
"They are not just prepared to settle for what they achieved last season. They want to improve and be better again.
"They have certainly done that with the signings they have brought in so it's up to us to respond.
"Our aim will be to go for a quadruple. We want to win the lot."
