United have issued this statement regarding yetserday's match.
Manchester United and International Events Partnership sincerely apologise for the cancellation of game 2 of Day 2 of the Vodafone Cup due to inclement weather conditions.
In view of the circumstances a full refund of the face value of the match ticket(s) will be issued by the Manchester United Ticketing department as a gesture of good will to the supporters.
Supporters who purchased tickets in advance will be receiving a full refund by cheque or credit in due course and do not need to contact the club.
Supporters who paid cash on the day should retain their ticket stub(s) and return to the 'Vodafone Cup Refund' Ticketing and Membership Services Department, Manchester United FC, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 ORA.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any compensation for any other incremental costs incurred as a result of this situation which was beyond our control.
Once again, we do apologise for the inconvenience this has no doubt caused.
