Since hearing this on Sunday evening Red Issue has received information from two separate sources suggesting that it may well be genuine. If so, this would tally with a rumour from about 6 weeks ago that a United star was spotted at a specialist hospital in Manchester. We sincerely hope not.
As this has not been officially confirmed or denied RI would ask, out of respect for the player concerned, that for now people do not name him on the forums.
